It provides mechanical, biological and chemical filtration in a compact and virtually silent. Like all external bus filters, it is best if you have a locked cabinet in his stall tank where it can be kept out of sight. The manual leaves something to be desired. The illustrations are small and not always clear which picture goes to education. However, after classifying the different filter elements (coarse and fine filter mats, path of active charcoal, ceramic coarse mechanical filter, biological filter and substrate), is easy to assemble. The filter is supplied with inlet and outlet pipes, valves and quick release for easy cleaning. The filter stack should be mostly removed when replacing the filter pads, but is not complex, nor too long the results speak for themselves: clean water, a stable, prosperous fish. Mine was assembled with the light hood wire routed incorrectly, which required the removal of that section of the hood and re-fitting correctly. Durable and Beautiful by David Coleman I got my Eheim 2213 for 19 years used and have never had to replace some parts, so far. It is a great filter, which keeps everything in the tank clear and fresh. The only complaint I have already been set. The double closure connections they would have added so much easier to clean. 19 years ago, they had not, but I can buy some extra. I've heard the only downfall for the Eheim is ordering replacement parts. All that needs attention, the suction cups that hold parts in place in the tank. Everything else is great! After oooos and Aaah right out of the box is faded. This is a 34 gallon tank installation was pretty simple. Do not be an athlete, have someone to help you get the tank in position because it is glass. The tank I bought was the starter kit included. $ 129.00 option. Free is a good thing. If not included, do not bother buying it. Some of the Red Sea test kit puts out is not all recoverable. Not expecting to work on the skimmer. This is my first tank and I found it very easy and hassle free. The tank is very clean and clear and the fish seem very healthy and happy. It can be a bit expensive for a standard installation are compared, but for me, convenience and comfort, everything is easier in a package worth it. And DSL access for easy maintenance. I am currently 5 zebrafish, 6 cats and 3 Cory cats, oto in the tank and all seem to be very good. I recommend this book for beginners. I would also highly recommed purchasing and studied several books on the hobby (which I bought and read at least 4) before purchasing a system and secure before you buy fish! The entrance is on the bottom and outlet on the top, there is simply no room for water to bypass the media and then filtering is much more efficient. Some complain that the filter is very difficult to clean. However, the manual shows a simple way to do this. I kept mine for 3 months without cleaning or freshwater aquarium heavily planted and I was very good. The media are reusable and refillable and reusable. Get my point? :-) They are extremely effective. A bit 'more expensive than the rest of the filter canister of the market. But in the long term, are better because they last longer and rarely failed. Construction is solid and is all wood. This is a rock solid stand for our 37 gallons aquarium. It has both the appearance and functionality of the page. The fish I bought this place for obvious reasons and when I got home I was very disappointed. I saw the pieces were solid wood and more pressure composed. There were perhaps two parts being of solid wood and possibly was the top piece. The short screws with two washers needed to be screwed through holes in the discussions. The holes were too big and do not offer enough surface under the machine so that it feels good. The construction of each phase starts with putting the pieces together with pins installed and then place the pieces with the hardware. When it came time to assemble the door panels with holes for the pins were cut off center so that even might be in. This is also fudged the cams is threaded into the frame and axles at the door. I tried to fix the camsthey no lockout. The place was not so strong and seems stronger in the photo that would have drilled holes to fit the pins, but I would not put an aquarium on the 350 pounds of something in which the pieces do not fit, as expected. Moreover, for $ 200 that should not have to do it. The parties have made an interesting addition to furniture, that's why I gave it two stars instead of 1. Nice little - cheap filter Bradley Clarkston Cascade 300 filter inline filter is a good and cheap for a period of five liters or 10, that slow and medium-haul (I use for Betta tanks 5gal) is required, but I would not recommend in slightly larger bio-load no more 'light' to overwhelm. Section has a bio-sponge and a filter cartridge disposable carbon "that they want you buy in packages. Filtration Well, low flow internal filter for larger tanks HSB For two filters I use Cascade 600 in my 55 liters of water Xenopus (Xenopus) tank. As I like to hang in the water, mate, and eat without getting blown around a high intensity, they are happy with the fact that production is low because it can show from the middle of the tank and the new shell because they like to excrete consumed in large quantities, I'm glad that your tank stays clean between water changes. For the largest amphibious tanks, these filters are very effective and low cost. More effective in a larger tank that filters internal Duetto. Duetto filter has smaller 10-20 gallon tank for the frogs and find that the cascade filter is better for large tanks. Cruz bought this last year, so my turtle Stinkpot could dry out of their shell. As already stated, it is aesthetically pleasing, but did the job. After a few months, the suction cups to suck less left the cup, the weeds grew very easily. Even after washing, the algae back soon. So, my turtle that bit gross! I hope you do not get sick! I saw this online and it is a very common problem with foam docks. It is very unhealthy for them to take a foam or plastic. Generally, it is an inexpensive dock, and you get what you pay for. Most useful reviews 25 of 25 people found this review helpful. Most large aquarium from a client that I've owned this tank for 3 years. It looks great sitting on my kitchen table. I could have been more consistent about cleaning the system (approximately 1 time per month), but generally fish have thrived. Some of the mistakes I've made are: 1) believes that bio-wheel must be replaced occasionally (do not go there) 2) let the light too much that they created an algae bloom, and 3) purchase of fish that gets too big to the small aquarium. I made those mistakes in the first year. Since then, it was smooth sailing except the lamp burn out. The light switch is pretty cheap, so repeated use induced the breach. I create another system of lights as I was not able to order a new part, except for the cover the entire device (which costs the same as the aquarium) but is not very satisfactory. I fall and buy another tank, just a chase, this time I will catch the light on a timer, and avoid excessive use of the switch. 12 of 13 people found this review helpful. Best small tank! I decided to send the tank back almost immediately because I have the quality and design to find the tank to be pretty disappointing ... especially coming as Marineland. First, scratch the tank body acrylic easy, especially compared to my other group of different manufacturers acrylic Although the foam packing material did not appear to be well protected. The top and bottom of the tank is full of scratches so obviously out of the box! The filter that comes with that is made of thin plastic and not doing well in the chamber appointed for this purpose. Almost every time I opened it, found the filter system because the cords got caught in the hinge. The strings of the filter and the light must go through a very narrow opening near the hinge on the idea. The tank comes with a clip to keep them, but it really does not help much. Adding an element, carefully thread the cord through a small hole on the other side of the lid and the stove through a narrow opening in the plastic that the filtering system, which is a real pain to use supports, must be adjust the temperature or remove a filter for some reason, when the lid, I do not understand why they can not feed a small door which include many other systems. It is difficult to open the entire top (especially if you're limited to the space above or behind the idea) to name but a few flakes dump. Order a book or two to have fish at the aquarium also order and wait a week before getting fish. In recent years, you'd have all kinds of work with filters and such. With bio-wheel that comes with that tank of his only job is to occasionally replace the "natural" filter and do a partial water change. That's it! The tank also comes with a beautiful light that will really shine your fish. You will need some gravel too and some plants and maybe a stone or two for the fish to hide behind. Gravel and this is best obtained at your local pet store. Start with plastic plants instead of live plants, has much to do anyway. In my experience things are easier if you have a heater too. The fish like the water temperature is constant. I'm using a 150w heater in this tank successfully Come run with the tank heater for a day or two to get the temperature stable. When you add the first fish, start with just a few small fish (actually, a 12-liter tank should always be only small fish, small tetras and such - do not worry, they are beautiful) to the bio-wheel going. His books explain it, but it takes some time for the biological processes that go into the tank and keep things in balance, so that water can quickly reach toxic to fish if you add a lot. (Get a package of test strips to test water quality every day - is when it starts later, the bio-wheel to keep things stable, unless you keep a lot of fish in the tank). It may also recommend getting another tank, maybe a 3-liter tank to keep fish in again before going to the main tank.
