Cruz bought this last year, so my turtle Stinkpot could dry out of their shell. As already stated, it is aesthetically pleasing, but did the job. After a few months, the suction cups to suck less left the cup, the weeds grew very easily. Even after washing, the algae back soon. So, my turtle that bit gross! I hope you do not get sick! This time I'll pay more for a top quality product. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. my turtle loves it! By Lori I resisted these things for years because I preferred to build natural stone platforms, but it gets complicated if you want to increase the water level above 6 inches. What I like about this dock is that it gives my Turt a nice big surface to climb and enjoy the sun, but still has all that room swimming underneath. I just hope it does not start chomping away at him, as some have done great job and really Turtles cups hold the platform firmly in place. great prices too! I resisted buying it when all the retail stores that had $ 20 but less than $ 10 worth a bet. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Do not waste your money on this point on H. Stages, I had two blocks, since they were born and I was able to use the zoo med turtle dock for about 2-3 months because of various problems. Initially, the platform has been well ... is not entirely aesthetic, but did the trick. My turtles would often use it to relax without any problem. After about a month, or if the cups are not very well stick to the point where it no longer adhere to the lower part is immersed in water. Because the turtles have become bigger, they would be stuck behind the bar at the bottom of the plastic, and it would really fight for freedom ... t they never drown, but it seemed to me as a possible threat to the dock and began to grow algae, and when I tried to clean and scrub the paint worn away with it. These are only minor problems in light of all my turtles to 3 cm in length, they began to really bite the dock out to the point where they could actually much out of it and eat it grew. I saw this online and it is a very common problem with foam docks. It is very unhealthy for them to take a foam or plastic. Generally, it is an inexpensive dock, and you get what you pay for. I recommend spending the extra money in advance to something better and safer (no foam). See all 14 reviews ....
